Hello world, I'm back from holiday. I don't want to be back. I'm sad. Let's not talk about it.
Instead, what I'm here to talk about is how CEE CLEAR's Clear Essentials Set made the whole experience so much easier. It was like discovering coffee. Where have you been all my life?!
Now that I've road tested the products, here's a quick review of everything included in the Clear Essentials Set – with some thrifty packing tips thrown in for everyone's holiday-packing benefit:
Firstly, the Clear Cosmetic Case is MASSIVE
This website needs a disclaimer: "objects are wayyyy bigger than they appear". As you can see, there's at least 10 full-size products in my Clear Cosmetic Case including a full-size shampoo and conditioner (pictured below). Thankfully, there were no mid-flight emollient explosions, but if there had been I wouldn't have been sad to clean it up.
✈️ PRO PACKING TIP: If you have more tech devices than cosmetics, the case is excellent for holding expensive electrical that can't get wet. Think: camera lenses, game consoles, Kindles, a small iPad, your shaver, etc.
The Clear Purse 4 Travel MVP
The ability to read your boarding details through your purse without having to pull out your pass every time is a luxury I didn't know I needed. I also never got flagged by security for any of my carry-on items. Regrettably, I can't say the same for the person I was travelling with. You're only as fast as the slowest person in your team. :Sigh:
✈️ PRO PACKING TIP: Pack the purse with the straps pointing up or hanging out of the side of your tote for easy retrieval.
The Clear Tote bag needs a zip...
While I find it too big day-to-day (I'm a shorty), it was my everything-bag on this trip: carry-on bag, excursion bag, beach bag, etc. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a zip. I ended up tying up the handles together on the plane to stop things came rolling out, which they never did... even still, Kat and Morgan, if you're reading this, please consider adding this.
✈️ PRO PACKING TIP: Pack a jumper or towel at the top of your tote to stop little bits and bobs rolling out.
Even Mini proved useful on holiday
The Mini Purse is the most underused CEE CLEAR product in my everyday life. But, proving that travel is where CEE CLEAR really shines, Mini showed her utility in the packing process. I had two Minis on me: IDs went in one, jewellery and hair things went in the other and there was still plenty of space to spare.
✈️ PRO PACKING TIP: There’s nothing like a peppermint or chamomile tea on a flight to calm the senses – and the mini is the best to store them. FYI: Tea bags are TSA approved. I checked because they won’t give us Economy folk the chamomile I know they definitely have in Business. C'mon now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
